I took my daughter's car to Dobbs in Wentzville to get her brakes checked as the pedal was "soft". Dobbs said the rotors, brake pads front discs and caliper pads. I Paid the $380.00 and drove home and the brakes never felt any different. I took it back and Dobbs told me the master cylander was bad so they replaced that. I paid and left.
I was thinking these brakes are even worse and was scared to drive home. The brakes just about went out on me and I called them and told them the car wasn't driveable. They sent a tow truck out and towed it back to their store. They told me the master cylandar they put in was bad and they replaced it.
I drove it for a while longer, pumping the brakes the whole time thinking I must be crazy cause it has been in the shop so many times and still wasn't right. I finally took it back again a couple of weeks later and they told me the abs system was out and it was undriveable and I would have to sign a release to drive it off their property. I really thought I was and had been screwed by them but I was scared to drive it cause they said it was too dangerous so I had them fix it.
I called their corporate office to complain, and the guy there told me they wouldn't charge me labor. I ended up paying another $5oo. 25 and when I drove it home the steering was pulling to the right, which it never has had that problem before and then I was about to take it to get an alignment at a different garage to see if that would sort out the problem but the next morning it wouldn't even start! I would never recommend dobbs to anyone, please heed this warning you might get taken for a ride and ripped off
