Brought my 05 Taurus to above dealer after engine light stayed on, 12/18. Previous month after multi-point inspection would not need tune-up for another 30,000 miles. Now told needed due to age of car. One or two days later, I'm told also need drive train module, adding $300.00 to first estimate of $1,086.00.
12/31, receive voice-mail from Lindsay (no name given) asking permission to disconnect alarm. No mention of any further charges.
Today, 1/16,29 days later, I get my car back $900.00 more than estimate, though $200.00 was refunded. How much would it have cost me and how much sooner would I have had my car had they found the real problem in the first place. All things considered, I should be entitled to more than $200.00 refund.
