Complaint / Review
United Car Exchange
Www.UnitedCarExchange.com SCAM

Do not believe in all the fairy tales these people tell you!!! Representatives of this company contacted me after I posted my car for sale on craigslist. The first thing they told me
was: You will never sell your car on craigslist People who buy cars on
craigslist do not want to pay a lot for the cars they are buying They told me
that I could sell my car for at least $1,500 more than what I was asking (and I
was asking the price kbb.com suggested). They also said that "only
committed buyers" who have either cash or pre-approved bank loan visit
their website and are willing to pay higher prices. At the beginning I did not
believe all these nice stories about their business and did not want to buy
their services. So, they started calling me hundreds of times. I talked with at
least 4-5 representatives of this company. They kept saying that there is
absolutely NO RISK in buying their services; if I dont sell my car in 90 days,
I will get a FULL REFUND ($199.99). To convince me that they are a real
company, they sent me a g Google maps location of their office and 2 reviews from
their happy customers. Can you image they got only 2 reviews in 10 years of
business!!! Probably those reviewers were very-very lucky to sell their cars
via unitedcarexchange.com.

Let me enumerate all the things they promise and how they deliver their services.

1) They state that they will post your advertisement on different popular car advertising
websites such as ebay.com/motors, Cars.com, Kelly Blue Book, AutoTrader.com, etc.
This NEVER HAPPENS.instead, they post your ad on junky FREE advertisement
websites that no one ever looks at.
When I contacted their customer service to ask why my car was not advertised on ebay,
cars.com, etc., they answered that my order was still being processed (5 days
after they charged my credit card) and they would update all the ads asap.in a
couple of days I checked my account and saw that the only update they made was
an advertisement of my car on craigslist. Can you imagine? Craigslist! The
website they criticized at the beginning. My car was already advertised on
craigslist for FREE and I did need to pay $200 to see their ad of my car there.

2) They tell you that you will receive at least 4-5 calls from interested buyers in the next
couple of days.in two months I received ZERO phone calls because of their
advertisement. When people called me, I purposely asked them about the advertisement,
where they saw it. People answered that they saw MY OWN advertisement on
craigslist, no one mentioned unitedcarexchange.com.

3) They state
that they will answer phone calls for you and make appointments for you. They
also say that they will be in touch with you on a regular basis. NEVER HAPPENS!
No calls, no appointments, nothing!

4) They also tell you blatant lies about the refund of your payment. They say that you can get
your money back after three months if you dont sell your car. They say there
is NO RISK! Somehow they forget to mention that they only give you half of your
money back. Moreover, in order to get the refund of $100 you have to send them
a notarized title copy that you still own the car.

Do not believe these people! Stay away! Hang up when they call you!
