My contact with CAMCO was eight months ago. They contacted me several years after I became physically disable and was out of work and told me they were sold my account from and automobile I purchased in 1996. After I spoke with Ms. Williams we agreed on s settlement amount of 1/3 of my old account and I had six months to pay the amount. I started paying the amount two payments at a time. I fell on hard times and skipped a few, however I paid my debt on time in the six months. After a short few months, I got a bill for the total amount of the original bill as if I had paid nothing at all. I was harrassed and was treated rudely. I refused to deal with them anymore. I contacted the attorney general in Washington, DC and I was asked to tell my story. I just wanted you to tell someone who may be going through the same thing to maybe call or write washington.
