The company named Internship international ltd based in usa under Thomas mennicken promised me a j1 visa. I had deposited all my documents and after carefull assesment was shortlisted for an interview. I went through the interview for which i was charged 100 dollars. The company then asked me to pay the remainder of the amount ie 2300 dollars. I was told that i fit for the programme and need not to worry as i was in safe hands. Mr Mennicken had assured that my money would be refunded in case my visa is rejected.
I got avisa date and was rejected on the pretext that i was overexperienced for a j1 programme... I had 4 years experience which the company was aware of. On the intimation to the comapny i was asked to file my visa again which costed me another 180 dollars.
I again got rejected. I was heart broken and told this to the company. They took nearly four months to get me just a nominal 1000 dollars back as my refund. I am formally launching a complaint against the above mentioned organisation and suggest you all not to fall in their trap as the rejection rate for j1s are really high and they know the fact very clearly. Still they ask candidates to fill in the process and cheat people for money.
