This is a formal complaint regarding my Dubai visa application.
I applied for the Dubai visa via the Emirates website as I am flying with Emirates. I paid the $77.00 visa fee.
A few days later, I was sent an email informing me that my Dubai visa application has been rejected. The reason that was given was that the passport was written by hand and so the application was unsuccessful.
I then asked for a refund for the visa fee that I paid and they said it was non-refundable. However, on their terms and conditions, they did not mention anything about a hand-written passport being rejected. Therefore, they are going against their own terms. Moreover, I am not responsible for the fact that the passport is hand written, it is the way the embassy has made the passport not me.
I have only several days left to travelling to Dubai with Emirates, therefore I need the visa. If you still cannot give me a Dubai visa then I want the visa fee that I paid, to be refunded.
