I have worked for applebees in marion ohio for almost 3yrs. I was working 5 days a wk until my sons health condition got worse sence then i had to go down to one day a wk and notified manager that does scheduling in writing about this. First problem is since i have had to change my schedule due to my sons health the manager cassie linehart who does the servers schedule contionues to schedule me and alot of others especial single moms shifts that arent their availability. Why? I dont get it. U asked us what we can work and u continue to schedule everyone shifts now they have to cover out of ur intentions of doing this. To me i feel she has singled me out bc she doesnt like me for one that is obviouse. This is discrimination to me and all single moms she continues to do this too. And another is everyones hrs and sections go based upon ur sells ur credit cards sales etc. Then why out of 30 servers one gets exactly the shifts she says shes doing. U cant say ok for one and not the rest. It should go for all again discrimination. And my other problem is after her scheduling me a dbl on new years eve when i said am only she schedules me 12hrs so im upset i express it outloud to myself back into kitchen then im told my another employee another employee and manager r gossiping about me again the manager was cassie linehart. I get upset with the co worker and we share words in the back of the kitchen i was upset and said i felt like smacking her not im going to or did i felt like it. Cant tell u how many times ive bn screamed at by a manager unapropiatley or in verbal abuse. Also dishes thrown passed us c theirs a simple mistake this is not how u treat ur employees at all. They can do all this and i cant express how i felt in the back of the kitchen. Manager rick? Was also their that nite and spoke with me in the office i apoligized and me and the other employee had already apoligized to each other and realized how dumb it was. Not to mention me and this other employee r friends we have done things out side of work with r kids. She new i wasnt going to do anything and i knew it i was just fraustrated. Theirs a no gossip policey but yet mrs. Linehart is constently doing this about her staff to the rest of her staff and if u asked the rest of the servers at 408 they would tell u the same. So i go home that nite and 5 days later rick? Calls me in from home to come in to talk. Had no idea what it was about. I get in their and he states that c i said i was going to c harm to this person were letting u go. How the hell do u waite 5 days to do this. I wasnt written up no suspension nothing so first off thats unproper firement. Did not take proper precedure to fire me. I know who made this desions cassie linehart and im sure kim caldwell. Kim is also the one who told cassie to give the employee who wanted her sertain shifts and certain section which again is discrimination to the rest of us especially when this person is the last person every time for sales. So i leave the resturant very upset and feel discriminated against. Then a day later i realise that two of r host had a agrument in front of guest and one of the girls smacks the other in front of guest also. So tell me why i was fired when i didnt touch anyone but this girl smacks another employee in front of guess and gets suspended. If any one should have bn fired on the spot it should have bn her not me. So im writing u this to let u know i have spoken with a lawyer and discussed what happen and im a prepared to press charges against applebees for discrimination to me personeal and wrongful firement if i do not ge my job back. This is completley not fair and if cassie linehart wouldnt of bn their it would have never happened especial if cassey t. Was their but he is out due to his health so i will b calling mon. Afternoon to speak to someone on top of this complaint and i will not stop untill i get my job back or i sue applebees. Ever since r general manager cassey t. Has bn off due to health problems applebees 408 excuse my language but has went to hell for all the employees due to lisa? And cassie linehart. I have never worked in a resturant that has the most 2 unprofesstional managers ive ever worked with. When u can hear them screaming at us and cussing loudly in the kitchen and guess can hear something needs to b done b4 u have several laswsuites against u. For the past yr that cassie linehart has bn manager i have never bn so mistreated and feel personeally attacked by ever in my 7 yrs bn a waitress. Ive done this long enough i do no my rights and i ready to bring this to the courts if nothing is done about my job or to the manager cassie linehart, rick? And lisa?
I hope u review this and contact me very soon b4 i go to my attorney i dont want trouble im a singel mom with 2 kids one that has a health problem and trying to b a great waitress mother and friend and i know if questioned the rest of the servers at applebees in marion oh 408 ur gonna here several complaints to them being mistrated as well. When cassey t. Was their and in charged the gossiping never went on especially the managers. And also i forgot how can a manager inform all the staff about them fireing me b4 they even do it. Is this not confidential and again for no gossip policey mrs. Cassie linehart does not follow this one bit c as i left several employees asked me if she did it so that tells me she has told others their something that is confidential again this is not aloud.
