On April 21/09-06.51 PM-
Two couples, Tony-Micheline, Glenn, Mitsa finished supper at Trattoria Reggiano and we feel ripped off by this establishment.
Supper - 2 Pasta e Fagioli, 1 Caesar Salad, 2 Ling. Bologne, 1 Spah / meatballs,
1 Spagh. Pomodoro, 1 Btl. Chianti Bramos. 1 Expresso, 3 Cappuccino.
Bill - sub - 146.50 Rest. Tax 11.36 service chg. 26.37
total - 184.23 USD.
Gratuity given - 20.00 USD.
On requesting an explanation of the Service Chg. The waiter advised it was a service tax.
In all our visits to many restaurants on the strip, during our weeks's vacation, we were never charged a service chg, except for this establishment.
In European Restaurants, when the charge in on your account, it is clearly explained by the Management no tipping required.
This restaurant seems fit to add the gratuity to the account and not tell the client and when questioned states it is a tax. Which is false and misleading.
This should be stopped immediately.
