The most repulsive working environment you will ever encounter. Ever.
There is no respect between management and staff. The GM openly cheated on his wife for 10 years and did not hide this fact from the staff.
I worked there over 2 years and never once saw a health inspector there. The counters are dirty. The kitchen is dirty. The cooks don't regularly wash their hands (if ever, honestly). Food is rancid, raw, old and long expired and still sold to customers.
There is an infestation of rats and roaches both in the kitchen as well as the dining area. Management openly sells and takes drugs with their employees, as well as sexual innuendos and frequently... Much more.
This place looks like it's been hit by the plague. It is the most unsanitary thing I've ever seen in my life. I'm physically repulsed by the thought. NO HEALTH INSPECTOR? Owner of the company is aware of all of this, and admits that his attribution of monetary funds is a way to get around "the system" (he's rich, ergo he pays people off).
People work under the table (who do not have the right to work).
This place and its people are their own infestation. You wouldn't eat there if you really knew where your food came from, and how it was prepared.
The GM as well as the other managers (one male, and one female) are the most dishonest, sideways, ruthless, untrusthworthy people. Their customer relations are pitiful, and the treatment of unhappy clients is a joke. It's sad with a restaurant like this, that has such potential.
Tips are claimed based on what the manager at the time "thinks" you made, and you end up claiming almost 30 percent more than you made. It's ridiculous.
The GM as well as other managers deliberately do not ring in "large parties" (geerally over 500 dollars) into the computer, so there is no way of tracking this food, or of the money. When customers ask for a receipt... A piece of calculator paper with (32 x 12= 384) is what the customer receives. When they pay with a credit card? Oh darn... The machines are down.
It's the most absurd thing you've ever seen. Where does the money go? Pockets... And not of the service or kitchen staff, that's for sure.
This place is ruthless, and the GM is the most obnoxious, self-absorbed individual you've ever met. He lacks integrity in every way you know of the word. He's inappropriate with the female staff and asks questions that would make a prostitute blush.
Be weary of going anywhere near this place, as an employee or as a patron. You've been warned. If you come home and don't feel well... The raw chicken and rancid ranch dressing can be to blame. If you come home, and feel uneasy because someone (your boss) has just asked you about your pubic hair and asked to see it, then you know why.
Be warned.
