This restaurant is primarily populated by old people who can enjoy an all you can eat buffet for $5 or so a meal. The food is bland and of poor quality. That is tolerable as you can pick and choose what you eat.
What is not acceptable is the behavior of this company's staff and management.
The folllowing things have occurred:
1. The miserable, bitter staff try to befriend patrons and bore them with their sob stories of their miserable lives.
2. Staff solicits patrons for money for health plans
3. Staff tries to become your fake best friend to drum up tips.
4. Staff makes fun of and torments patrons. The web is filled with reports from former employees who docucment that they do this. You can hear them gossiping about patrons.
5. Managers sexually harass female patrons — touching them, putting their arms around them, hugging them, and making sexually suggestive comemnts. When females note that this behavior is inappropriate, the managers, who are fat, slovely, grostesque say the women "have issues" for not wanting to be salviated over.
6. Managers throw women from restaurants who protest sexist treatment as opposed to addressing problem. They also lie and are an incredibly dishonest chain. The web is full fo reports of sexual harassment, misconduct, employee abuse at the Old Country Buffet.
After male managers attempt to molest female patrons on their establishment, they deiliberately lie and defend each other. Call their attention to it — and they deny, deny, deny, and stick up for each other.
Managers admit that they have had to fire staff because of food contamination and loose standards.
This is basically a very low class restaurant where losers who can't find any other work congregate. This might be their own employment prospect so they hold onto their positions with dear life and lie about their misbehavior whcih woudl not be tolerated anywhere else. They are generally uneducated, untrained, unsocialized, unintelligent, and ineffectual. Since they reside on life's underbelly, they feel a need to establish their manhood by sexually targeting female patrons and dominating them — degrading them until they submit.
None of the staff looks happy to work there. They are all miserable and dishonest.instead of addressing their inadequancies and taking correction, they try to cover it up. Call them on sexual harrassment, telling them you don't appreciate that they have such sorry lives that they have to trail women to their cars and peek at them from behind booths and leer at them throughout their meals and approach them with sad pick up lines and they claim they never said such things, that they never spoke to you, and that, by golly, they don't even knwo the meaning of the words.
The company is run by a bunch of low class dolts and they engage in illegal conduct — whcih is sanctioned by corporate. They harass and badger people who don't play their pathetic buffet games — and the moment you ask them to stop, they say, "we're sorry we're unable to meet your standards of enjoyment, please leave, " as opposed to "we're sorry we acted like rancid, unwashed pigs."
These people are vulgar. The experience there is subpar. Sexual harassment is endemic throughout the entire establishment and its franchises, as confirmed by numerous reviews of the restaurant. The place probably employs illegal immigrants. Most of the staff cant' speak English or thinks women are there to be cat called.
