Applied daily for six months while brother was hired in a week

I have applied here everyday and I have been trying to get a job and when my brother applies here he gets the job in a week but when I go to apply I am told I am not getting the job. Is it something I did wrong or something. Now that my brother works there i can work there because I was told family can't work in the same restaurant and I believe it's unfair how Sandy chose my brother after a week over someone who has been trying fr 6 months
