I was offered a low intrest Platinum Card at less than 10% intrest. All of my payments have been made on time. I have never went over my limit.
I do have a child support dept that is more than ten years old that was reported to the state of Maryland this year. Maryland automaticly put it on my credit report.
As soon as AT&T found out about my child support being put on the report they started charging me the default rate on my card even though I done nothing to them.
When I called AT&T about this mess they informed me that somewhere in my contract it says they can do that if I don't keep my credit report clean.
I for one don't understand how they can charge me a default rate when I stayed in good standing with my payments to them and my support dept is both over a decade old and pre-existing to my AT&T account.
Are there laws that control the financial instatutions to keep them from robbing us little guys???
