Lying, cheating women give real women a bad name and the IDPA is right there to back them up

I would like to warn all the young men that are having babies with women they are not married to. If you sign the birth certificate when the baby is born make sure it's yours' because if you wait over 2 years to get a DNA test done you will be ordered by Illinois Dept. Of Public Aid, if the woman gets assistance, to pay child support for that child even if the test shows it's not your child. Plus, our court system in Kankakee County, Illinois will not do anything to help. I am the wife of a man that thought he had a child with his ex years prior to our marriage. At the time they were living together she had a baby, but later down the line he was told it wasn't his, and because he didn't have the money to get a DNA test he just left it alone. Eventhough, he never paid a dime towards that child after they broke up (the child was 1), now the IDPA will not reopen this case because the child is now 9 years old and my husband had signed the voluntary acknowledgement on the birth certificate. A DNA test was done prior to IDPA coming after him for child support and the result is he isn't the father. So please tell me how can he be ordered to pay child support for a child that isn't his?

The funny thing is another man tried to take custody of that child in 1999, but the guy never got a DNA test done so the IDPA says oh well. The mother of the child was on our side, because she sees the resemblance of that guy and her child. Now our family is going to have to pay child support just because his ex did what she did. If anyone could help us we would appreciate it, because our money is running out paying a lawyer that hasn't found a way out of this.
