My complaint is this. Citizen's bank charged me an enormous amount of overdraft fees recently. The fees alone are worth complaining about, however, my complaint is in their math. My problem is this. If you have payments pending, citizens will always retro-act them, subtracting them at the original date. If, however, you make a deposit, citizens will hold that money and though in the official statement it will show they posted it on the date you deposited. The truth is they don't add it to your balance untill the hold date. This is sketchy math and citizens uses it to extort "fees" from it's customers.
