Looking for additional money in all the wrong places, they put the CON in consume

To all of those with Chase Mortgage Loans, please review your statements carefully. We made 2 payments in one month December for fear of deployment over seas. We got credit for one check and not the other, but both checks cleared our account.

Suddenly, we have double late fees charged to our account beginning in January which is against the law to charge more than the original contract from the original lender prior to being sold.

Then for tax purposes I am told to fax a copy of the taxes that we paid and next thing I know, they put us on escrow 5/04 to 5/05. They would not allow us to come off of escrow because of a "late payment" (that we never got credit for in December).

Once the escrow came into play, the monthly statement amount was higher than that of the annual escrow letter that we recieved in March. To add insult to injury, we just received another Annual escrow letter 6 months from the first letter for 5/04 -5/05, that states we are in a deficit on our escrow account and that our payment is going up on another $182.00.

Well, obviously it will be in a deficit if it hasn't gone the entire year. And when they say you are late, they add the monthly mortgage amount, the late fees and the balance of the escrow so that it appears as if you owe $10,000.00, but realistically it's $2,260.00.

So here's the kicker, I have made numerous calls and have sent via Fed Ex, US Mail and fax all documentation to include cancelled checks, bank statements, and copies of their letters sent to us to the following departments: Customer Service, Collections, Escrow Department and the Insurance Department to clear this up, and 10 months later it still is not correct as evident by my most recent statement.

It amazes me how big corporate can walk all over the customer and show absolutley no accountability or responsiblity for their error, yet they hold the upper hand and you are at their mercy to save your home. What ever happened to the old adage "the customer is always right'?
