I have done business with Encore for over 5 years. Their prices got to be so expensive I decided to change c.C. Processors. They kept adding special charges to my bill and told me it had to do with homeland security. When I settles on another processor {a lot less expensive} I called Encore and was told by ms, Walker that I couldn't fire them bacause I have a contract {this was never told to me before}. She said it automatically renews itself every year unless I Cancell. She said I would have to call back in three months to cancell and Have to pay monthly untill that time. I did this, and called her on the anniversary of my contract to cancell. She said I had to wait for an email from her, fill in the form and send it back to her. Which I did. They kept on charging my account. When I called they said sorry and I would recieve a refund. I never did. I called again and she said it is in process but it had not gone out. They have now charged my account 2 more months and now they won't answer the telephone or return my messages. I was charged on 9/5 $22.50,10/2 $62.00,11/2 $77.50. And thats with no purchases for those months. It sounds like I have been dealing with a bunch of crooks these last few years. I need to know which government agencies regulate these kind companies. If anybody can point me in the right direction please do so.
