In July I wrote several e-mails (which I have) regarding questions about how Hampton Publishing ran their business. Their response was very quick in the beginning.
I ordered the Footprints in the Sand Plaques start-up kit for $45.75 and received it in August. I sent the kit back with my $12.00 inspection fee and it failed inspection. I wrote and told them the directions were not clear.
The company gave several options to continue. I asked to go ahead and order the unit and by-bass the practice kit. I was expecting to pay $72.00 for the unit, which was stated on their internet site (which I can't get to now). They sent me a waiver to sign that I understood that they would not be held liable for a failed inspection. They also wanted $193.30 for the unit.
I wrote back to them and told them I couldn't afford that and that was not what their internet site stated. I sent in the $30 to receive the practice kit and try again. I have not received the practice kit and have not gotton a response from numerous e-mails about when they are going to ship it.
This company has ripped me off about $90.00. It makes me angry and sad that people can't be respectful and honest with other human beings. Don't believe this company. Don't give them the satisfaction.
