My mortgage loan was bought by Homecomings back in April. To-date, the still have not obtained my escrow funds from the previous lender and have notified me that my mortgage payment is increasing nearly $200 a month because of the shortfall in my escrow account.
I was first made aware of this on the 1st of August and despite numerous phone calls (where I am inevitably on hold for at leat a half an hour and/or disconnected) I have been told that they are "researching" the issue. Replies to my e-mails include polite responses stating they are researching the issue, but they value me as a customer. Uh, since when?
I politely asked when they would sell my loan to someone else. They told me they would service my loan throughout it's term (Good grief! 28 more years of this BS???)
Homecomings customer service is non-existent. They are obviously understaffed and/or do not care about their clients. Obviously, they feel they can do whatever they want, whenever they want. My only recourse is to spread the word to other consumers that, DON'T EVER GET A MORTGAGE THROUGH HOMECOMINGS. I will tell family, friends, and strangers on the streets about this company's inability to provide even one ounce of service.
Homecomings Rebuttal - please do not make me nauseous by responding with useless "valued customer" mumbo jumbo and give me a number to call. I have a life - I don't need to sit on the phone all day waiting for you to hang up on me.
