Unknowingly charged Insurance Escrow onto my mortgage, and caused me to be "delinquent"

All-
I too have been victimized by this company. I have never in the 15 yrs I've had homes have ever had delinquent account statuses on my accounts.

I previous had a loan with homecomings and had same bad experiences with them. I was so relieved to have finally refinanced and gotten out of of their system.

Then after refinancing, and without my control, my new loan was sold to Homecomings (again!) by my previous lender.

Back in August it appears that Homecomings went ahead and added 2100 to my due amount to help pay for an "Escrow" amount towards insurance. Also added about $180 to my mortgage payment amount. It has taken MULTIPLE customer service calls to get all this straightened out.

Every time I called, each customer rep told me different information as to what was the current due amount. Finally when I thought I spoke with a sensible rep, she said that once I submit this last amount, I would be current. She also informed me that it was her last day and I had no way to follow up with her except that my account would be noted.

The website is POORLY laid out, and trying ot read the transaction history is a nightmare for anyone, including me — a computer engineering director!

So, now I have 5 consecutive 30-day delinquents (since the insurance amount was tagged on) showing on my credit report when I have been told that I've only had ONE reported to the credit bureaus!

My last conversation with the latest service rep said that these things CANNOT be deleted from credit reports. I myself know that this is NOT true, and these things can be reversed at any time!

If there is anyone out there, organizing a class action suit, I want to be part of it. This organization's business practices and customer service reps need to be seriously re-vamped.

Thank you for reading/listening.
