I have two complaints:
1. Sears card/citibank charge sneaky and astronomical fees.in error, I didn't make my payment (5k) like I thought, and as soon as I noticed the error I paid it in full. They discharged most of the fees, which had I not been advocating for myself would have amounted close to $350 over several months. (They charge interest several months in a row, so you are paying multiple times for the same balance). A less tenacious consumer wouldn't stand a chance with this company.
2. I spend 4k-5k to rack up rewards points a month towards a $2000 sears gift card. I am very close to the 100,000 needed points, and they just raised the requirement to 125,000 points. Are you kidding me? How much do you think they make from me with just merchant fees at 4k-5k a month? I am a very disatisfied customer and will be finding another rewards card to give my lucrative business to as soon as I cash out on my now much less valuable points.
