I was contacted by phone by a representative of Simmons, Smith and Associates over a supposed online direct deposit loan I had received the previous December. The representative had just enough personal information about me to get me worried about identity theft. As a result, I spent the better part of the day making calls to be sure everything was okay.in the end, after trying to contact Simmons, Smith and Associates 6 times and getting a non-professional voicemail each time, I Googled them and found out that this is not really a law firm, it is a scam. I am furious and i feel violated.
