Ron E. Gross - modelrep - W.I.S.H
Discriminated me because I am temp. Financially in debt and threaten to slander myself and daughter to 28,000 modeling agencies, advertisors, media and tv, Work At Home RIPOFF

I called Mr. Ron E. Gross about one month ago after I got laid off from my job. My daughter has an interest in modeling and I have been researching the internet to get advice. Mr. Ron E. Gross told me that if he accepted my fourteen daughter Priscilla that he could get her contracts with J.C. Penney.

Mr. Gross also informed me that I could work from home being a model scout making $25.00 every contract that I found for him. I told him that I was posting jobs for colleges. Mr. Gross told me to have flyers or advertise on the internet with these words: Get Paid to Model for Major Department Store Catalog Ads! E-mail.

I posted these flyers that my daughter made in three local colleges my area. I also posted them on-line and received two answers. Mr. Gross neglected me to given me information to these perspective clients and he told me that he was anxious to see Priscilla's photos that were done professionally by Metro Studios in Boston.

I did not receive any e-mail with information regarding these opportunites and when I called him on September 13 he told me that he would e-mail me a contract for Priscilla costing me $286.00.

The very first night that I spoken with Ron E. Gross, I told him upfront that I did not have any money to invest. I told him that I tell all the home business that if they do not trust their job offerings to give me the package and deduct any supplies, etc. From that so called terrific pay, then their offerings are not trusted.

No One should have to pay to go to work, if there are supplies, etc. Then take it out of the first paycheck if the keep their word of offering 100%. Anyhow, Mr. Gross told me that their was a fee for $159.00 that first night and that he could work out something with me to get started. I did everything possible to find girls even the girls from my neighborhood.

Now everyone is going to be let down because he did not provide me with any information. When I e-mailed Mr. Gross today asking for the contract that he said he would submit, I asked if this was a scam. He then threaten me that he is filing a lawsuit against. Here are some of his e-mails: I am no longer interested in dealing with you. Accusing us of running a scam is ridiculous... We WILL NOT send out thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and offer thousands of dollars worth of service. And me personally spending countless hours each week promoting your daughter without a security deposit to protect our interests.

You have insulted our generosity and will make sure that all modeling agencies we know of will beware of your nastiness!!!

That was the rudest thing we have heard in quite some time. I know you are having financial troubles but do not put that on us. And try and hurt our good name in any way.

Ron
I did not accuse his, I asked him. Another e-mail:

Trust me. I will send your daughters name and yours to over 28,000 Major Media such as: every cable network, tv shows, entertainment magazines, radio stations, tv networks, modeling agencies, etc. And file a lawsuit against you for "defamation of character"...

You want me to do everything... But you are not willing to invest even a refunded security deposit...

You may not want to do the contract. But saying it is a scam is totally ridiculous and you are opening yourself up to more trouble.

Ron

He didn't e-mail me the contract, and I never said that I couldn't scrape up pennies if the deal was legitimate. Another e-mail:

Trust me. When it comes to protecting my name and my reputation, I will not tolerate any person spreading "defamation" and calling us a scam. I have already taken care of two other people who attempt to spread false info about us.

We are a Member of the Better Business Bureau, the Fair Business Association of America, have many references and testimonials, have a very reputable Board of Directors, etc.

What part of our contract do you consider a scam? Because we ask for a security deposit which is refunded to you guaranteed, means you PAY US NOTHING for all the services in guarantees we provide!!!

NO OTHER company or person would do as much as ours!

And, when you send your nasty comments, make sure you copy every word of this e-mail also...

I will be watching every site and every location to see if you are spreading false info and calling us a scam, which by itself, is grounds for a defamation of lawsuit..

Please take my e-mails very seriously, there are many people who let this type of stuff go. And it hurts their name and reputation. And I will NOT let that happen!!!

Why are you so suprised that a person is willing to protect their good name? Why do you think it is ok to hurt others, because of your financial situation?

Ron

I told him up front that I was not given money a month ago. He was persistant that I advertise that ad and see my daughters photos for the contract. I find this discriminating because I am as I told Ron a singlemother of four children without child support. I never saw the contract, he never e-mailed it. He is the one who is mad at something. I just asked if this was a scam, I did not accuse him. Another e-mail:

I have copied your last e-mail where you are saying you are already sending lies to others.

I am forwarding all info to my attorney and will be filing a "defamation of character" lawsuit against you.

This will be the last e-mail I will send to you and accept from you.

Please send me your attorney's name and address asap.

Ron

This is what I thought was funny, I laughed all day. I am a singlemother of four children with no child support and I just got laid off. I am living on housing authority. I can not stop laughing. I would like to countersuit Mr. Ron E. Gross for every penney that my ex-husband owes me for child support. He has made discrimination remarks against someone who is temporily in financial debt and threaten to slander my innocent 14-year-old daughter and myself.
This is one of the first e-mails that Ron sent me about the model scout job:

This is the e-mail that I sent Monday, 9/13/04 when I was waiting for the contract Ron had promised he send. And, this is how it all started.

You have sent me nothing. Did you think Priscilla is a good candidate to be a model? We are having it very hard at this present time and we would like to get out of debt. Do you really have modeling jobs available or is this a scam?

Lynne

This is another e-mail Ron sent after I gave him two potential candidates to model with their e-mail. He also had Priscilla's professional photos.

Please get me back on track of your contract. What contract did you sign and what did you receive so far. As are up to date with sending out the E-mailed
Welcome Packages, etc. Ron

Ron basically sent me nothing.

What do you think of this? I am presently a B.S. Business Management student on-line at Fisher College and have learnt alot from Ron E. Gross and the modeling world. I have volunteered to be my daughter's personal manager. I believe in myself and will land another job soon.
