2 months in a row I noticed a $3.00 charge on my savings account with bank of america. This is besides the $5.00 monthly maintanance fee they charge as well. I contacted bank of America for an explanation. I was told that the charge applies when you have more that 6 transactions a month in your savings account. Which would have been fine except they count your atm withdrawal as a separate transaction from your actual withdrawl. So what that means to the consumer is that if you withdraw your money from an atm machine it potentially counts as 2 separate withdrawals. 1 for the cash and a separate 1 for the atm withdrawal. Not only does this seem crooked to me but it's almost straight up robbery. I understand that it's only $3.00 but I have been charged 2 months in row.in the long run it could add up quite quickly.
