CIC Credit Monitoring charged my checking account for an unauthorized purchase. I never gave permission for them to charge me and never received a notice that there would be a charge. Right now I am trying to work with my bank to get the charge refunded which caused me to go negative in my account (this is causing other problems, as you can imagine). I recommend that you stay very far away from this site as their "free" credit report is apparently NOT free.
