Ordered free annual Credit report and credit score for a small fee from TransUnion, then got additional unauthorized $79.75 charge for "CIC*Credit Monitoring" on the same VISA card shortly thereafter. When I called TransUnion to dispute the charge they said they did not charge it. They said they had no idea who CIC is or how to contact them.
Luckily I disputed my VISA charge within days of it posting—it pays to watch your Charge Accounts online and often!
