National freedom group contacted my father while we were in the process of a loan modification for the 4th time with our lender. A lengthy, difficult and unfruitful process. We were contacted by mail, then by phone by bob miller. The man called consecutively every Wednesday to touch base with us an d offer comforting words. Telling us that we had to send financial records and various documents. Finally asking my father for a check in the amount of 3,000 dollars. My father not being a foolish man asked if i could check out this company. As desperate as we are we can not afford to loose 3,000 dollars. I googled their name only to see a myriad of bad reviews and scam alerts. I called the company and was told that i needed to speak to the assessment manager at my mortgage company. I did call my mortgage lender only to be told that that was a nonexistent position and furthermore they had not been contacted by any company on our behalf pertaining to the modification. Also we were told that this is a service that should never cost a dime. We have stopped correspondence since then. But that doesnt protect the countless others this unscrupulouse compant will try to swindile. Please beware.
