In 2010 I settled a debt with Legacy Visa card, the agreement in the settlement was that it would be removed from my credit report once the amount was paid in full. This did happen. January I see LHR on my credit report, I call the company and they say the debt was from Legacy Visa, I told them that this is paid, they asked for a letter showing proof this was paid. From two years prior? I will start looking up past bank statements. I guess times are real bad when companies resort with these games.
