Jon Purcell, Susan Vernacchio, Jean Dowling Seckek Capital is clueless when it comes to customer service when providing home loans!

Y far the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with a puchase of any kind! Jon Purcell was my inital contact. I worked with Alecia in the beginning and my closing was set for April 9th. Within a week I provided everything requested and met every deadline in oreder to lock in my rate. Alicia was helpful but left the company 2-weeks before my loan was suppose to close. Jon then requested the same documents twice and then realized I had already provided them previous.

Jon then referred me to Susan Vernacchio this company and requested the same documents the 4th time! I know I should have realized then that they didn't have the ability to close my loan in the requested date. Neither employee would return my calls or email in a timely fashion. My title compnay and insurance gave me more information then jon or Susan were capable of telling me! On April 7th 2-days before my requested closing date Jon returns my email and says he doesn't have any emails requesting a closing date on monday!

I'm guessing the contract he had received from me with the closing date stated for April 9th wasn't sufficient. Jon then asks if there were any emails I didn't copy him on that I sent to his assistent and there were but by now it's April 7th so trying to rewind the clock didn't seem relative to me. At this time underwriting had my documents for over 3-weeks and Jon tells me it hadn"t come out of underwriting yet! I had to ask how am I suppose to plan, schedule, and prepare to move when 2-days before closing I hadn't heard anything?

Keep in mind my credit score is over 800 and I was putting 10% down and well under the debt to credit ratio. On April 9th I finally receive a email from Susan stating the loan was in underwriting for final approval. At that ponit in time a send a return email to all parties asking if this is typical in dealing with their company and had to ask if they were dragging their feet for rate purposes and asked if my rate was still the same. Jon did confirm with little reassurance that it he thought it was at 3.75% and no points?

April 10th Jon emails me and says file is in underwriting and he expected it out of underwriting in 48-hours. Keep in mind he only responded after several emails and phone calls and only by email. April 12th I called Jon and he was out that day so I talked to susan which relayed to me she would be able to contact them after 3P.M. And should have a answer. I called at 4P.M. And she was already gone for the day! This is after Susan and Jon both said the would be a priorty.

At this point in time the seller doesn't know what to think and the place I'm moving out of after being there for over 6-years has new tennants moving in! I then call Seckel Capital requesting Jon's boss and the lady that answered the phone (Carmen Medina) said she would email her along with Jon and Susan and copied me. Carmen asked all parties including Jon's boss Jean Dowling to call me asap that no one was returning my calls.

Of course I never received a email or call from Jean and it wasn't until the following day which is today Friday at 2:47pm that I received a email from Jon stating that the underwriter after having all the documentation for over 3-weeks had a problem with my dividend I received 2-months prior and that since my salary was more this month that they neede a explaination? I explained everything in email and requested he call me after I tried to call him first without success and he responds in email that my answers don't really answer he question!

I have to say after more then 4-weeks with all the information that was requested that 5-days after my requested contract closing date they now had a problem and needed more information but couldn't call me to discuss it? I then called Texas Lending and spoke to someone at 5:30pm that will be working on a expedited new loan starting tomorrow on a saturday!

I'm now out money for the appraisal, movers, rent, installations, etc and I'm having to start over with a company that was happy to take my call and start working on my loan immediately! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY JON PURCELL, SUSAN VERNACCHIO, AND THEIR BOSS JEAN DOWLING unless you like to gamble and stay in the dark when it comes to purchasing a new home.
