I'll keep this very simple. I am a medical professional in Rocky Mount NC. I have dealt with RBC (USA) bank since inception in 2001 with no issues whatsoever. Today (03/02) is the big takeover by PNC bank in Pittsburg of RBC bank in the Carolina's. They advised us that new routing/transit numbers were necessary... A MAJOR pain. PNC also promised in writing delivery of free checks with the new info to start business on Monday Mar 5... Well... What do you know? Come Monday morning I have no (read zero) checks, because PNC forgot to send them out. Their arrogant customer service told me Fri Mar 2 that I will have to order them myself. I have a statement in writing from PNC saying checks would be supplied by the transition date.in short, no checks to start my business.in addition to not supplying checks by the promised date; they told me expedited shipping would be an extra charge. Customer service acted as if I should know all of this. Whoever is in charge of this bank takeover should be relegated to the proverbial broom closet. Guess what my office will be doing at 9 am Monday morning?
