I an a business owner who had Property Damage Liability Insurance with Keller Stonebraker.in eight years with this company I never filed a claim. However, in October it became necessary to file a claim.
In January I received a letter from Cindy J. Wolfinger, a claim representative with the company. The letter indicates that the company is refusing my claim due to "Faulty Workmanship." My company does not do faulty workmanship. I have done the same thing, the same way, over 1,000 times prior to filing the claim. Furthermore, I did the same thing, the same way, two other times that same day on two other jobs.
Keller Stonebraker is only refusing to process my claim because they became aware I intended to cancel my insurance policy with them. Refusing to file a claim due to Faulty Workmanship is an easy method for Keller Stonebraker to avoid the paying a claim.
I must now file a complaint with my state's insurance commissioner. I must now also seek legal counsel in an attempt to get Keller Stonebraker to pay the claim.
There is an old expression "You get what you pay for." Keller Stonebraker was the cheapest insurance company when I was seeking Business Liability Insurance. I now why they are so cheap,
They are the cheapest because they employ methods to avoid paying out a claim.
