Redwood Mortgage Company in Vineland, NJ will rip you off. They charged me over $ 17,000 in closing fees. The branch manager, Mark Donohue, pocketed over $ 3400, just to sell the loan to Indymac bank. People please learn from my mistake do not go to this company or others similar to this one. Why pay a middle man when you can go to the source directly. I thought I was getting a good deal.
Boy, I sure was wrong. This company did not explain the loan package to me completely. They are just interested in getting you in their office so that they can suck money out of you like a leech.
After closing, when they have sold the loan to a bank or financial institution they no longer want to help you or answer any qustions that you have. From the $ 17000 only about $ 6000 went towards (equity) the lot that I purchased. The other 11,000 went to outrageous fees such as the appx. $ 3400, that Mark Donohue pocketed. I then went to another mortgage company who charged me only 3600 to close on the same kind of loan.
