My father is 91 years old and not totally capable at this point. He was contacted about selling credit card services from home cold calling businesses in our area. I convinced him to not proceed, so when the representative called back, my dad declined to proceed at which time the representative slammed the phone down. When the postman left a card about the materials from this company, I did not pick them up from the Post Office. When my dad was charged $295.00 for the materials, I started calling the company to request a refund. I have talked with Marissa several times and her solution is for me to sell for them and make his money back which I have totally declined. No one returns my calls and I call every day and leave a message.
I have written to Discover to protest the charge. I have written to the Attorney General in my state and to the Better Business Bureau. Taking advantage of our senior citizens is just wrong.
