Chase Manhattan Mortagage Corporation many angry people, avoiding their customers

I called Chase Manhattan Mortgage in October to do a stream line re finance. I thought that since my mortage was already with them it would be much easier. They knew my payment history and pretty much everything that they would need to know.

I spoke with Thomas Caovette at their Severna Park Office. Not only did I not get to re finance at 6%, but I was told over and over again that he was so busy. And that he spent the majority of his time putting out fire's from angry people.

He would tell me that he had spoke with the Title company that I had chosen. They would tell that never spoke with him and that he was not returning the many phone calls that they had made to him.

I believe it because he wasn't returning my calls as well. Finally after two months he told me that I should wait until after the New Year because the rates would be dropping. Many people would like to have his crystal ball.

I have since re-financed with a different company, it took eighteen days from the first contact. I now have a interest rate of 6 1/2 %. This man cost me thousands of dollars. His office staff were not much better than him. They too do not return phone calls.
