My grandfather had a mortgage with fairbannks. They tried to foreclose on his house. I had to do a reverse mortgage to stop the foreclosure.in otherwords, no other mortgage company would work with us because of fairbanks therefore his only option was a reverse mortgage. This is just like a foreclosure because i had to pay these outrageous fees to refinace and pay a monthly fee as long as he have a reverse mortgage.
During the time the letter arrived at the house my grandfather was in a nursing home for rehabilitation. We never rreturned the claim form and he is eligible for over $2,000.
I feel like he should be included in the foreclosure because we had lost most of our equity as a result of the reversed mortgage.
Please help
My grandfather passed in the month of may. Therefore i will continue to handle the case.
