Our Family has been in our home for 8 years. Fairbanks Capital took over our Mortgage and has been ripping us off ever since. We have given Fairbanks more than 15,000 since last October and now they are saying that we still owe them 9,500 to get our mortgage current. We have socked everything we have into this house and still they say we are behind.
They put forced insurance on the home when we had insurance. They have said that the funds we have sent them has been applied to bogus escrows, attorney fees, descretionary funds, and everything but our principle mortgage. We have been on 2 forbearance agreements and met the criteria for both and then some. We gave them up front monies to start the agreements and then paid upwards to 2100 a month which is 3 of our regular house payments a month. For the 1st 6 month forbearance we sent them as much as we could over and above our 693.21 payment.
We are now at the close of another forbearance agreement and they want us to send them another 4200 for starters and then pay 1057 a month there after for a year. 2 days after we had made arrangement to do this we received a letter stating that we had to come up with 9500 in cash to keep our house out of forclosure. They have kept our credit history at a foreclosure position so that no lending institution will even look at us, even tho our County court system brought us back into court and threw the forclosure case out of court because no-one from Fairbanks ever showed up. So we lost time at work as well as the frustration of not knowing what was happening with our home.
We have been in limbo with this company now for 2 years. This is heart wrenching. After talking with an investor about selling our home we found out the information about Fairbanks unfair treatment to others just like us. Where do we go from here? Please help others as well as ourselves to get the news out about this rip off company. No one should ever have to be in the limbo and financial situation we have been through so far.
