I was contacted by a sales representative on a saturday on my cellular phone and he began to say how I was preapproved for a visa for 5,000 dollars. I proceeded to listen to all that he had to say and I said to him that it sounded good. I then went on to ask him to send me some information on this card in the mail. He went on to tell me that he would send the information but first needed my checking account information. I then went on to tell him that I had no idea who he was and I don't give my information on the phone. He then went on to tell me my routing number and told me that they would not take the funds out of my account until I authorizied them to. He told me I will receive somewinfo about the card in 7-10 business days and then my card in 5-7 days. I then gave him my information and he connected me to a recording and then I hung up. Three weeks later I get something from ups and in it is some papers and a book on financial management and a letter stating how you can get on different web sites and apply for a card. So I then proceed to call them and a young lady named nancy answered the phone I told her I wanted my money back because I did not get on their web site and the letter stated that if I did not get on their web site that I could be refunded my money. She then connected me to Paul Burges who apparently works in eternal affairs tried despartly to explain the program. I stayed focus and told him that I was not interested and wanted my money back. He then hung up on me and called me right back and told me that he had just wasted 30 minutes of his time and that he did not appreciate it and that I would only get 189.00 back instead of my 219.00 and to ship his materials back. I hung up with him and then thought about and called back but got his answering machine and apologized to him because I wanted him to call me back so that I could argue the shipping and handling and also a long distance service that my account was charged. Sincerely pissed off
