I was called by a sales rep offering a credit card with a limit of $5,000. They needed my bank account information to complete the application but I would have a few days to review the information and call them if I decided I did not want it. During the telephone conversation, I told the rep I changed my mind and did not want to participate. At that point, he told me to just say "no" when the recording asked me a question. I did that.
On two occasions after that, the recording was leaving me a phone number to call if I had any questions, but both times, a beep came in the phone so that I could not hear the phone number. Then the call was disconnected. I knew then that I had been scamed. I now have found out that my bank has paid them an electronic payment of $219.90.
I called information to get the phone number of Gotech Financial. A recorded message appears that states "the customer has requested that this information not be released". I have no way to contact these people. They not only disregarded the fact that I told them I was not interested, I didn't even receive the offer they quoted me.
