This bank sucks! I sent in a payment like i normally do. (it was sent a week before it was due). Well well, they, for some reason did not recieve the payment. They started to call me continuously. They kept asking for me to make a payment over the phone which i refused. The operator became real nasty towards me for no reason. She let me know that if i did not make this payment over the phone on that day that my account would be late and they would have to report me to the colloction agency the folowing day.
Well, i checked my account the following day and my payment, by some miracle, had posted. I recieved a collection notice in the mail soon after. Anyways, the account was taken out of collection because it was paid, however because my payment did not post till after the cut off date know i'm stuck with an even higher interest rate.in all, from the time i mailed out my payment to the time it posted it took 9 days. So the following month i wanted to see if it would happen again. From the time i mailed my payment to the time it posted to my account it took only 3 days. Mind you there were no holidays during either payment periods. I just think that they wanted to charge me a higher interest and all those late fees and such that get tagged on to your account.
