We paid for an appraisal to help with the refinance process. Greenfield was not giving us a rate comparable to other lenders so we stopped the process on the day we were to close. Now we are trying to refinance with a company that can give us an appropriate rate.
When we tried to get the appraisal we just paid for Greenfield Mortgage would not release it so the new lender;'s name could go on it. All we have is a copy.
We have called Greenfield Mortgage to try to resolve the issue but they refuse to release the mortgage since we canceled on our deal with them.
