Daniel Dizayer appraised our home for the purpose of refinancing with a mortgage lender (lender A). At some point we switched mortgage lender (lender B) because they offered a much lower interest rate. The old mortgage lender A gave consent for the new mortgage lender B to use Daniel Dizayer's appraisal report. At the very last minute (two days before signing the loan docs) Daniel Dizayer refused to make a few small changes that were requested by the mortgage lender B for which I offered to compensate him. As a result we had to frantically obtain a new appraisal from a different appraiser the day before signing. Daniel Dizayer was happy to take our $500 for the appraisal but very unprofessional in his dealings with my wife and I and the new mortgage lender B. His refusal to finish the job cost me and my wife another $450 for a new appraisal as well as significant additional time and effort for the new mortgage lender B. I have sought explanation for his behavior but have not heard back from Daniel Dizayer.
