On 11/14 I made apyment on my account ($1000). On 11/15 I noticed that my bank deducted the payment twice (@ x $1000 = $2000). I called them and they told me I had to ocntact Bill Me Later. I checked my account with Bill Me Later on-line and everything appeared normal. So I called them and explained that my bank was saying they made a double deduction from my account. I was told that this happened to thousands of accounts yesterday and that they are working to fix the problem. I was told it would be 3 - 5 days to get the money back into my account. I then requested something in writing that I could give to my bank so I would not get hit with overdraft charges. I was told that I could not have anything in writing. I'm doubtful that they are going to make thing right. Needless to say, I'm on my way to the bank to file a dispute over the unauthrized charged, but that may take 7 -10 days to get the money back into my account. And I will be closing the account ASAP. From what I was told, this affects 1000's of Bill Me Later customers.
