Complaint / review text:
I opened a business account with Wells Fargo an since i decided to do that i also decided to us their merchant services, which now i completely regret. The agreement between me an merchant services was that the fees would come out of my account as soon as the any customers cards were ran but instead the fees where held until it was one large sum and then they waited til my account was low an hit it making overdraft fees. I contacted merchant services an they kept telling me that they were honoring the agreement an that the bank was doing that i paid on these fees not once but twice i then disputed all of those fees and told them i wanted my money back they only credited my account half of it and then sent me a letter stating that they reimbursed me all of my monies which was an out right lie.
Now they tried to do this again but this time i refused to pay them an called merchant services again an they stated that they have collected their fees already just like the agreement said an that the bank was holding on to the fees and letting them add up then waiting for my account to be low then hit it. I called the customer service manager she said that it was merchant services who was doing this so now here comes the blame game. Now i had hidden fees that the merchant service people never told me about nor did they inform me that if i cancelled the contract that i still had to purchase the equipment an all i got out of that was sorry someone should have explained this to you.
So now Wells Fargo keeps sending me statements charging me fees for an account that has been closed an overdraft fees on top of merchant fees i told them that i was disputing this an going to the attorney general what i got was a laugh an the reply of yeah whatever call us with the claim number then, I said ok, but now i am getting threats that the will keep letting these fees build then sending it to the collection agencies, but i know that they can't do this because i am disputing the fee an until this situation is rectified then they can not turn anything into the collection agency, but once again the reply i got was a laugh an them saying yeah we will see. They are very rude an non-understanding to a problem which was caused by their bank.
