On 10/27, Mr. Chad Lee, a debt collector from Van Dinter & Associates in Temecula, CA, called me repeatedly, illegaly claiming to be an insurance agent. Mr. Lee never disclosed that he was a debt collector and impersonated an insurance agent, with a false claim number, to get me to speak with him. Mr. Lee falsely represented himself and used harsh and threatening language when I did not offer to pay him for a bogus debt. Van Dinter & Associates has been reported to the secretary of state, the better business bureau, the Federal Trade Commission and the association of credit and collection professionals. Please spread the word and refuse to do any business with this company so this type of illegal harassment will stop. If you're a prospective client, looking to hire a debt collection firm, I would suggest reading this rip off report as a warning.
