I am shocked that this company is in business! I have been called by these people who are looking for my sister! They have her number but like to contact me (her sister) to harass me enough maybe that I will force my sister to pay her debt.
I owned a company for many years that helped people get out of debt.in doing that type of business I had the unfortunate NON-PLEASURE of getting to know the TRUE Collection industry and how BAD it really is. I came from collections so it was hard at me at first to listen to these people break and violate Federal Law... Then I just got mad and decided to fight back! I did help a lot of people either get out debt that they owes or file so many complaints to the Federal Trade Commission that my consumers did pretty good winning most fights... But I am just one person and everyone needs to get educated!
Debts are at their highest these days. Collectors are out of control! This collection office I had to call the Solon Police Department to stop a collector from harassing my Grandmothers house! I was at lunch visiting my grandmother and called my voicemail from her house. I helped people reduce debt balances and thought I was returning a call to get a settlement letter when I met the rudest collector that I hung up on. He felt he could just call me repeatedly at my Grandmothers house and called and called and called. Not to mention he called my mother names when she grabbed the phone begging him to stop!
My sister is a drug addict that is attempting to get her life together. She is being harassed now and even though they call her and speak to her and they know they have the wrong number whenthey call me - they continue to call me.
I am a very busy person and in a different industry now and cannot DO what I would like to do and THAT would be to educate EVERY Consumer for FREE and have them shut these collection offices DOWN!
I encourage everyone to seek your rights - which costs you NOTHING!!! Go to the Federal Trade Commission website and search for the FDCPA. (Federal Debt Collection Practices Act). I see where people just PUT UP with this harassment and you don't have to -but you DO have to take a stand! STOP DEBT COLLECTION HARASSMENT - starting WITH YOU!!!
When a collector calls your work and threatens to call your employer and increase the balance - THE COLLECTOR, the COLLECTION OFFICE and the CURRENT OWNER of the debt are liable! You have PRIVACY Rights that protect you and a collector cannot tell ANYONE about your debt, period!!!
When a collector calls you for someone else and it is not you and you tell them but they continue to call - THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW and harassing you! They don't get to keep calling you.
Check out the tape-recording laws in your state and TAPE them and SUE them!
DO SOMETHING about it!

PS - Please also - NEVER use a Consumer Credit Counseling Company - they just ruin your credit! Ahhhh... I just hate that when I see people doing that! That is HORRIBLE on your credit and is NOT a help to ANY bad situation!!!
