I explained to the company that set me up with GMA that I would need merchant services in a few weeks when my new website was launched. I was told I should fill out an application to save time but that nothing would be done until I gave the go ahead to proceed. They processed my application anyway and immediately started charging my account, which had no money in it because it hadnt been used yet. They charged me over $160.00 in unknown fees and never disclosed what the fees were for. The fees that they said would be normal for an application didn't match the charges to my account. I called them up and asked them to stop charging me as my accounts were negative and to put the account on hold. They told me I would need to fill out a cancellation form and it would not be a problem. They told me that they were working on getting me a refund for the charges. The next day, they charged me a $540.00 early termination fee for an account that was never supposed to be opened in the first place. As of now, they have charged me over $700.00 and have refused to refund any money stating that my representative (a reseller of their services) did not work for them and although they were the company charging me, they would not return money as there are costs involved in setting up an account. They are thieves and scam artists and I would highly recommend that businesses stay as far away from them and their affiliates as possible.
