I purchased the Jim Rosen Classified Ad System back in October. After receiving my package I got a phone call from Web Ad Systems from a guy named Ralph about purchasing a website to create my own business selling fitness equipment. It sounded good at the time so on Nov. 4 I made the $4500 commitment to set up my own site. This set up also required getting a merchant account at $64.95 per month.
Once I set that all up through an activation specialist named JJ he convinced me to invest another $5000 for a 4 part ad package to help market my new site. It included a 1 800 number, digital catalog, 5 extra domain names, and a 30 second commercial. I agreed to it, thinking it made sense as a way to advertise the new business and get things off on the right track.
It is now 5 months later, and with the lack of productivity on my site and discouragement with trying to reach technical support and get some help and answers about my site, I started to get a bit suspicious. Phone numnbers that I have are no longer in service and when I do finally talk to someone all I get is the runaround.
I decided to do some investigating on the net and ran across others that seemed to have reported the same problem. It seems I have been scammed just like many others. I am now out over $10,000, not to mention the monthly expenses that I am still paying for like site maintenence, my toll free number, and my merchant account totaling another $120 per month.
Does anyone in my same boat have any answers to this horrific scam or info on where to start in trying to recover my losses. Please Help.
