Purchased Jim Rosen's Classified Kit and Finanvial Freedom Quick Start Systems (total $153.45) on 09-18-03. Received package with no problem about a week later, but was expecting more details of business strategy than was provided. I figured this was something new to me and I needed more time to learn and practice the steps outlined.
Shortly after, I was contacted by Joey Lowry with W Craig & Company offering a special intenet advertising deal that Jim Rosen was providing to a select number of his customers. I was initially excited at the opportunity but reluctant to invest "today" and would have to consider his offer.
A couple of weeks went by and I finally decided to go for it and contacted Joey. He told me I would be contacted by Webad Systems to setup my website.
A couple days later I was contacted by Lisa who explained the basic program and the special offers for upgrades.
I purchased the basic package 0n 10-17-03 with a 3yr., 1500 targeted visitors contract to get started. I wanted to purchase upgrades after the website generated some business.
I was then instructed to complete three steps to get the website active. The targeted webads purchased would be automatically programmed into website.
1. Setup Merchant account
2. Website setup
3. Obtain domain name
At this time (11-03) I put this project on the back burner for now.
In february 04 I completed a merchant account setup ($1,495) with E Commerce Exchange (Dennis Holmberg 800-675-6573). Dennis has been very helpful from day one and since then in my efforts of trying to contact someone at Jim Rosen, W Craig & Company or Webad Ssytems. For the last couple of weeks he has returned my calls and tried to get me a valid contact number. No Problems with these people!
Also in February, I purchased a domain name (3yrs. $26.10 plus Traffic Blazer $39.95 with The Domain Planet. I try to visit domain and it says... Coming soon. I don't know what is wrong here.
I chose to do the website setup myself online. But during the setup I had a couple of questions and that is when I started having troubles.
I began by tring to get technical support through the phone numbers and email addresses that were posted on jimrosen.com, webadsystems.com, thefitneesequipmentstore.com and began compiling a list of bad numbers, busy signals, no answer, not deliverable, unknown address, etc.
At this point I was deeply frustrated and just wanted to get out. I continued my searches to find a contact to get this resolved and noticed some reports on these companies which I looked at and was sickened.
Being persistent, I called the Jim Rosen number from his TV ad like I was a new customer. Guess what... They answered. After finally getting to talk to a supervisor they reluctantly gave me a customer service number (800-992-5470). I was able to speak someone who explained they had another number for webad customers (800-821-1035 David Carrillo).
David explained Jim Rosen has had to file a class action suit against W Craig & Co., and Webad Systems. Not good news! He told me Jim Rosen was offering FREE ten one-on-one coaching sessions with them directly to help get this mess fixed and get customers webads and traffic flowing.
He said I would be receiving a package in 7-15 days detailing the suit and the status with regular updates to follow... We will see.
I have made my purchases with personal checks and I am afraid I am not going to be able to get a refund. I will be contacting my bank, merchant account, cedit card companies to try and stop any further billing and try to get help in seeking a refund.
I will update with any progress or helpful news.
