Jim Rosen sold me a how to get rich with tiny little ads, package deal saying that the package comes with a Free 30 page Website for 30 days. He said on TV that he makes $50,000 to $80,000 A week and we could too if we buy his special priced package deal worth hundreds of dollars for just $39.00 s&h
So I did and an advertising company named WEBADSYSTEMS called me after the package arrived at my home. Webads then tried to sell me the site that they was giving me free for 30 days for 4 years, 5,000 hits (I think), and $4,000.00 saying that in a month I won't be able to buy it this cheap if I wait and it is a very profitable business. I said I don't have that kind of money. Webads then tried to sell me less years and hits saying that I didn't need to pass this great business opportunity up that some make money the first day and there would be no more cost at all to make the site work since they were an advertising company and was going to send me free customers.
I asked what was the cheapest package they had. He said said $750.00 a year and 500 hits. Again I said I don't have it. So he made me that special little deal at $500.00 a year.
So Webadsystems sold me a fitnessgeardeals.com site for 1 year saying they would send 500 customers wanting to buy fitness equipment to my site. And I could make a lot of money and if I put some ads out of my own I could make even more money.
Then Shelia Wu at E-COMMERCE EXCHANGE called me saying that I needed to set an account up to accept credit cards on-line or the site most likely won't sell anything because that is how people do business on the net and she will give me a special deal because they work with Jim Rosen and Webadsystems. She then tried to sell me expensive software to accept credit cards on-line.
I told her I didn't have the money to do that with. She then told me they finance the software and would cost $49.00 a month payments. She said I will need to pay I-PAYMENT INC. $10.00 a month to accept credit cards on my site and if I didn't sell anything each month they would take an extra $25.00 more and would E-Mail me that someone bought something and to watch my bank account for funds to come for the merchandise I sold and then call the order in to be shipped to the customer. (Cut and dry) And I had to pay QUICK COMMERCE $5.00 a month for gateway fees. That was $65.00 a month or $95.00 a month if I didn't even sell anything.
WHAT A RIP! I had no choice at this point thinking I would make more than enough money to pay before So I put about 10 ads out on the net (some paid & some free and I even made 200 fliers and put those out.
After 1 month went by and no sales I called Webadsystems and told them that I'm not getting any sales and what do I need to do to get the site to work. They said that I was doing everything right and it takes a little time. I said but you said some made money the first day. They said some did but not everyone just keep doing what you are doing and it will work.
So I started to summit to all the search engines everywhere I could. Put a lot of my own ads on the internet also and DISCOVER'S WEB PROS called and said they could really help me get more business to my site and advertise and give me another Website with my own domain (AA FITNESS DEALS.com, (cost$49.00 more a month)
Then I lowered my prices and gave free shipping. I put out a lot more paid ads and free ads with the new discounted equipment prices and submitted my new site to more search engines. I was now at the top of most search engs. Under fitnessgeardeals, fitness deals, fitnessdeals, fitness equipment, fitness gear, aa fitness, Keys Fitness and others. (AND MOSTLY ON THE FIRST PAGE)
After a little while longer I started to get in touch with other fitnessgeardeals.com students saying they are not making sale ether. Asking me if I am having sales. More and more students starting coming in. I had about 100 different e-mails with same problems. I saved some and got rid of some.
Then I tried calling Webads again to complain of no sales in 6 months and $1800. Down now and countless hours investigating ways to place ads and get hits with not one sale.
After 4th call and 3 days later they called me back. Chris Hall called. I told him that nothing is working not one sale. Others are saying same things no sales. He said the site works that others are doing good. I said you tell me what to do and i will do it. He said it takes time and hits and he would refund my money in a month if I couldn't start selling the equipment and he would send me more hits. I SAID WHAT ABOUT ALL THE MONEY I PAID OUT TO THE MERCHANT ACCOUNT, THE ADS I PAID FOR, THE OTHER SITE (AAFITNESSDEALS.com WITH 600 HITS) TO HELP MY FITNESSGEARDEALS.com SITE (WITH 880) HITS) and all the time on the computer thinking its going to work watching the hits build and nothing. He said he can't do anything about that only the money I gave them. WHAT A RIP OFF
Still no sales in 8 months and 1200 hits ON MY FITNESSGEARDEALS.com / SITE NOW KNOWN AS "THEFITNESSEQUIPMENTSTORE.com/" and 890 hits on my AAFITNESSDEALS.com SITE AND NOT ONE DIME. Just a few thousands down. And now no sites and no money!!
