Amazon.com Store Card Deceptive paperless billing

GE Money Bank has set up their paperless billing on the Amazon.com store card (and probably other store cards) to trick people into making payments that are too small and cost people late fees!

I elected paperless billing on my GE Money Bank Amazon.com store card. Then in August I sent my payment via Bill pay. What I didn't know is that it would be accepted so quickly that it got there before the billing date.

So when I got the September bill, the email said what the minimum payment was. I mailed that in. What the email stated was minimum amount due $25.00. The actual statement though, showed that there was a late fee due as well because they posted my payment to the wrong month and were showing me as missing a payment! So for the second month in a row, even though I was paying my bill exactly like their "Minimum Due" email said I should, GE Money Bank was going to charge me a FEE another $35.00! That is trickery, misleading and flat out wrong!

People are busy and signing onto accounts is laborious. When they said Minimum Due that amount should have been exactly what was due so that if I paid that amount I wouldn't owe a fee. They are greedy cheats.
