We bought our home in 2000 and in 2004. We wanted to refinance to a lower interest rate but when we tried we were turned down because there was a IRS lien on the house. Our mortgage papers said at the time we close the deal in 2000 that there was no liens on the house.
How can this be when it should have showed up on the title search they hide it from us? We contacted lawyer and he looked at our mortgage and laughed he said it was trash. We were over charged on everything. It was all fraud.
